A face well-known to our community, Filippo Barbacane is the artist, part craftsman and part mechanic, behind the wonderful custom creations of Officine Rossopuro. For our notebooks as Proud Owners’ members, he wanted to give us some details and behind-the-scenes info about two of the latest creations born of his inventive talent. They are two models with strikingly different personalities, and when you see them you can’t help but stop and admire!
Filippo, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other in person! What have you been working on these last few years?
“For me, the occasion of the Moto Guzzi Centenary was something not to be missed, and I started off in high gear to present something really special. I’ve never worked as hard as I have in the last two years! I’ve had so many projects come in, especially from abroad. I honestly didn’t expect so much work, but in some way this testifies to the desire of enthusiasts to get back to imagining something different after the sad period of the pandemic, to get back to thinking about the future in a positive way.”…
