The grand finale of this exhilarating 2022 season of Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance was raced as usual between the curbs of the prestigious Misano circuit, at the same venue where back at the beginning of September the MotoGP bikes had taken to the track! Race 1 was held under the artificial lights, followed the next morning by the Trophy’s final mini-endurance race.
LOTS OF NEW ELEMENTS, THE SAME STRONG EMOTIONS
The first obvious new element this year was the weather, which unlike previous editions welcomed the many Guzzi riders with sunshine reminiscent of late summer days, making us forget for the whole weekend the temperatures you’d expect in mid-October on the Adriatic coast. And for the first time, the more than thirty V7s present on Saturday for qualifying were all already equipped with headlights and position lights, an aesthetic and practical modification adopted in view of the new eagerly awaited night race: 1h30’ of battles starting at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday, with the asphalt illuminated by the headlights of the competing Eagles and the circuit’s floodlights!…
