Open House 2018: the V85 and the exclusive Proud Owners experiences!

After the initial previews a few weeks ago, it’s been really hard not to imagine ourselves already in the saddle of our Moto Guzzis, heading out to Mandello del Lario for Open House 2018! Although September 7th is still more than a month away, it’s never too soon to start thinking about our upcoming Guzzi adventure! So here are lots of exciting updates for you!

The first is way too easy since the heading already says it all, but the good news is that the Queen of the Ball, the much anticipated V85, is going to be there at Open House! She’s almost ready to take to the road and join the extended Mandello family, so this will be our chance to get a close-up look at this first ever Classic Enduro designed for touring during its world premier … how could we not be there?

But for us members of Proud Owners Community there’s much more at stake! Moto Guzzi will be laying out the red carpet in front of our wheels and will be offering card-carrying members of Proud Owners a whole range of exclusive and unique added extras:

  • the welcome starts off with reserved parking for Proud Owners, right at the factory entrance, which you will be able to access simply by displaying your membership card,
  • next there’s an exclusive Welcome Kit for members of the community, a custom free gift that you will be able to pick up from Proud Owners’s desk simply by displaying your membership card,
  • next there’s a special 20% discount on the 2018 collection of biking gear and accessories, which you will be able to utilise in the Shop simply by displaying your membership card,
  • and then, Moto Guzzi fans and Guzzi owners registered with Proud Owners will also be able to jump the queue and get into the Fast Lane for test rides on the 2018 range of models (without any need to display an “Owner” card).

Also at Open House 2018, all Guzzi owners will be able to take advantage of a special service (subject to the payment of a booking fee) aimed at producing a certificate of origin specific to their respective bikes. This is an official document issued by Moto Guzzi, confirming that the vehicle was indeed produced by this manufacturer. This certificate will be particularly useful either when registering a vehicle as a vintage bike, applying for duplicate registration papers if the originals have been mislaid, or for the purposes of collection and historical interest.
